Agricole Vallone
Agricole Vallone is an Apulian producer with deep roots in the Salento region, whose identity is built around agricultural continuity, an understanding of the vineyards and the promotion of local grape varieties. The documented origins of its winemaking date back to the second half of the nineteenth century, whilst the company’s vision was consolidated in the twentieth century through a journey that helped to raise the profile of Apulian wine. Its production areas span significant regions between Brindisi, San Pancrazio Salentino and Carovigno, in a rural landscape where the proximity to the sea, the Mediterranean light and the variety of soils create very distinct growing conditions.
Negroamaro plays a central role, particularly in the Salice Salentino and Brindisi areas, where soils containing sandy, clayey and calcareous components produce wines with an intense yet balanced character. Alongside this grape variety, Agricole Vallone also works with indigenous varieties such as Malvasia Nera, Susumaniello, Ottavianello and Verdeca, crafting them with a focus on their territorial origins. The winemaking approach aims to bring out the character of the grapes naturally, without forcing the issue, whilst striving for precision, balance and a distinctive style.
The result is a clear vision of Salento: wines rooted in tradition, yet crafted with a contemporary sensibility, capable of combining structure, Mediterranean freshness and a faithful reflection of the landscape from which they originate.
