Livio Felluga
Livio Felluga is a historic figure in Friulian viticulture, deeply connected to the hills of Rosazzo and the vineyard-covered landscape stretching from the Colli Orientali del Friuli to the Collio. The winery was founded after the Second World War with a vision centred on the restoration of the hillside and the promotion of a region with ancient traditions, where vines coexist with woods, olive groves and biodiversity. This setting, characterised by gentle slopes, breezy conditions and distinct soil and climate variations, fosters wines that combine aromatic precision, structure and natural elegance.
The estate’s winemaking identity is based on a careful assessment of individual plots and on viticulture conceived as a form of landscape stewardship. The Rosazzo vineyards represent the expressive heart of the estate: here, Friulian and international grape varieties find the ideal conditions to express freshness, depth and a distinct sense of place. The approach prioritises balance, respect for the raw material and stylistic consistency, with winemaking techniques designed to preserve clarity, complexity and the potential for further development.
Livio Felluga’s wines tell the story of a hilly, varied and luminous Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where the aromatic profile is never divorced from the mineral character and the finesse on the palate. The famous image of the map encapsulates this connection with the land: not merely a distinctive feature, but a declaration of belonging to a territory that the winery interprets with consistency, restraint and cultural sensitivity.
