Talenti

Talenti is a Tuscan producer with links to Montalcino and the Pian di Conte estate, situated not far from Sant’Angelo in Colle and overlooking the Val d’Orcia landscape. Its identity stems from its connection with the southern slopes of the municipality, where Sangiovese finds conditions particularly suited to expressing structure, depth and finesse. The vineyards are situated on different aspects, with altitudes that contribute to the gradual ripening of the grapes and the preservation of balance and freshness. The soils alternate between clay, sand, silty components, galestro, calcareous marl and iron-rich deposits, forming a mosaic that is reflected in wines with a complex and terroir-driven profile.

Work in the vineyard focuses on the direct care of the raw material, with manual harvesting and careful selection of the grapes. The central role of Sangiovese is complemented by ongoing research into its expression in the Montalcino area, in keeping with the appellation’s character. In the cellar, the approach combines tradition with technical precision: temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, careful management of extraction, and ageing in French and Slavonian oak, followed by bottle ageing. The result is a range of red wines with a distinct Montalcino character, recognisable for their intensity, smooth tannic structure and balance between fruit, spice and mineral depth, with a style that highlights the character of the terroir without compromising on clarity and expressive harmony.
