Tenuta Roveglia
Tenuta Roveglia is a Lombardy-based winery based in Pozzolengo, on the southern shore of Lake Garda, in the heart of the Lugana wine region. Its identity stems from its relationship with this borderland, where the moderating influence of the lake accompanies the ripening of the grapes and helps to define white wines characterised by balance, freshness and aromatic precision. The vineyards are planted in soils of glacial origin, with clay and limestone components that distinctly characterise the Lugana area and foster mineral, taut and recognisable expressions.
The signature grape variety is Turbiana, the defining feature of an ancient wine-growing landscape closely linked to the culture of the lower Lake Garda region. The winemaking approach combines care for the raw material, meticulous attention to grape selection and a winemaking process designed to preserve clarity, elegance and a connection to the terroir. In the cellar, the use of stainless steel enhances the freshest and most immediate expressions, whilst targeted ageing allows certain wines to acquire greater depth and complexity without losing their stylistic coherence.
The cultivation follows principles that respect natural cycles and the balance of the ecosystem, within a vision that combines local tradition with a contemporary sensibility. The wines of Tenuta Roveglia thus express the most authentic character of Lugana: bright, harmonious and savoury, consistently reflecting the glacial origins of the soils, the climate of Lake Garda and the unique terroir of Turbiana.
