VisAmoris
VisAmoris is a Ligurian winery with links to Imperia and the Riviera di Ponente, set in a landscape where vines thrive amongst sun-drenched hills, terraced slopes and a constant maritime influence. Its focus is firmly on Pigato, a native grape variety of the Riviera di Ponente in Liguria, which it regards as the cornerstone of its identity and the key to understanding the region. This choice lends coherence to the production project, which aims to bring out the diverse expressive potential of a deeply Mediterranean grape, capable of combining aromas, structure, savouriness and freshness.
The natural setting is that of the Imperia coastal hinterland, characterised by stony soils, slopes and conditions that call for careful and predominantly manual viticulture. Vineyard management prioritises respect for the ecosystem, with practices that avoid the use of herbicides and maintain a direct relationship with the raw material. In the winery, the approach remains measured: temperature control, careful monitoring of fermentation and tailored ageing methods allow the Pigato to develop fully without altering its character.
VisAmoris’s wines thus form part of a distinctive stylistic tradition, in which the character of western Liguria emerges through aromatic precision, a maritime quality and a contemporary interpretation of the grape variety. The winery helps to promote a designation historically linked to coastal viticulture in Liguria, offering a production philosophy centred on varietal identity, artisanal care and territorial continuity.
