Allegrini
Allegrini is a name deeply linked to the Valpolicella Classica region in western Veneto, with roots in Fumane and an identity built around showcasing the grape varieties and the hilly landscapes of the Verona area. Its character is shaped by a territory lying between Verona, Lake Garda and the Lessini Mountains, where aspect, altitude and calcareous-clay soils combine to produce red wines characterised by vigour, ripeness and aromatic precision. Corvina Veronese plays a central role in the winery’s approach, alongside the appellation’s other traditional grape varieties, in a philosophy that combines loyalty to the terroir with a meticulous selection of raw materials.
The winemaking approach highlights the potential of the hillside plots and the attention to agronomic care, with targeted harvests, careful management of ripening and a focus on practices that support the quality and health of the grapes. The tradition of grape drying remains one of the most important technical and cultural cornerstones, yet it coexists with a vision focused on expressive clarity, balance and the recognisability of the fruit. In Allegrini’s wines, Valpolicella expresses itself through aromas of cherry, spices and balsamic depth, with polished tannins and a structure that prioritises harmony, definition and stylistic consistency. The result is a contemporary yet deeply rooted interpretation of the appellation, capable of highlighting the natural complexity of the terroir without losing clarity or balance.
