Audarya
Audarya is a Sardinian producer based in Serdiana, in the south of the island, in the Campidano area near Cagliari, where viticulture harmonises with a bright, breezy and deeply Mediterranean landscape. Its identity stems from its connection with the native grape varieties of Sardinia and the Cagliari area, interpreted through an approach that combines territorial continuity with contemporary precision. Vermentino, Nuragus, Cannonau, Monica, Bovale and other local varieties are at the heart of a philosophy that prioritises recognisability, expressive freshness and respect for the raw material.
The vineyards are situated amongst the plains and gentle hills of the Serdiana area and its surroundings, on soils where limestone, marl and clay components help to define distinct profiles between white and red wines, as well as wines more closely linked to local tradition. The hot, dry climate, tempered by breezes, promotes even ripening and helps to preserve a distinct aromatic profile, which is particularly important in white grape varieties and those characterised by greater Mediterranean finesse.
The winemaking philosophy emphasises careful vinification, aimed at preserving the varietal character and the purity of the fruit, with measured technical choices that are consistent with the grapes’ origin. The result is wines with a distinctly Sardinian character: sunny yet not heavy, with an immediate aromatic profile, and capable of showcasing the island’s viticultural heritage in a modern, terroir-driven and recognisable style.
