Eugenio Rosi
Eugenio Rosi is a Trentino winemaker with strong ties to the Vallagarina region, particularly the Calliano area and the Leno Valleys, where viticulture takes place in a landscape of valley floors and slopes characterised by the interplay between the Alpine climate and milder influences from the south. His identity stems from an artisanal approach to wine: the vineyard is seen as a place to be interpreted, whilst the winery becomes a supporting space, without impositions and with a constant quest for balance.
The winery showcases grape varieties deeply rooted in the local terroir, such as Marzemino and Nosiola, alongside varieties that have found favourable growing conditions in Vallagarina, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This combination allows us to showcase a multifaceted southern Trentino, capable of producing reds with a distinct territorial character, whites with a rich, textured personality, and wines that prioritise depth, rhythm and natural expression.
The style of the wines is based on a leisurely pace, respect for the raw materials and measured intervention. The aim is not to seek an immediate impact, but rather a gradual expression of the terroir’s character: balanced, distinctive wines, often characterised by a savoury complexity and a rustic sensibility that preserves energy, finesse and a deep connection to their origins. Eugenio Rosi thus offers a personal and consistent interpretation of the Vallagarina, where craftsmanship and the terroir remain at the heart of the winemaking process.
