Torre dei Beati
Torre dei Beati is an Abruzzo-based producer based in Loreto Aprutino, in the hilly area of the province of Pescara, a region with a long history of viticulture and the promotion of indigenous regional grape varieties. Founded in 1999, the project has, from the very beginning, based its work on organic vineyard management and a philosophy of quality rooted in the authenticity of the raw material, the vitality of the soil and respect for the environmental balance.
The Loreto Aprutino region offers particularly favourable conditions: hills situated between the moderating influence of the Adriatic Sea and the temperature variations resulting from the proximity of the Apennine mountains. In this setting, Montepulciano, Pecorino and Trebbiano express themselves with precision, combining ripeness, freshness and aromatic definition. The winery employs careful selection both in the vineyard and in the cellar, using measured technical approaches – such as selective harvesting and gentle pressing – to preserve the wines’ expressive integrity and varietal identity.
The wines’ style emphasises purity, balance and a distinct sense of place. The Montepulciano reds display depth and character without losing their finesse, whilst the wines made from indigenous white grapes focus on tension, a crisp aromatic profile and natural expressiveness. Torre dei Beati thus represents a consistent voice of contemporary Abruzzo, rooted in local agricultural tradition yet focused on meticulous, sensitive winemaking that respects the landscape from which it originates.
