BasadonePelaverga di Verduno Doc

Castello di Verduno

Pelaverga di Verduno is also called Pelaverga Piccolo and grows almost exclusively near the village of Verduno, according to legend brought here by a friar in the 17th century who picked a plant of it in the Saluzzo area. The name comes from the union of the words "pela" and "verga," and is thought to refer to an ancient vine training technique.Read more
