Torre TestaSusumaniello Salento Igt
Tenute Rubino
Susumaniello is a very productive vine capable of producing a high quantity of clusters, hence the name meaning "load the donkey." According to some producers, the high productivity of Susumaniello declines when the plants are over ten years old. It was always thought that the grape variety originated in Dalmatia, but recent genetic tests have established that Susumaniello comes from a cross between Garganega and Uva Sogra. It grows mainly in the provinces of Bari and Brindisi and is potentially one of Italy's native grape varieties.Read moreSold out
